Husky Highlight...
Benzie County Central Schools would like to recognize Jessica Nagy. Jessica is part of our maintenance staff at Crystal Lake Elementary and their staff throw out this shout out.
"We, as a staff, would like all to know what an amazing asset Jessica is to Crystal Lake Elementary. Right now, all staff are being asked to do things well outside their comfort zones. Jessica has always done that without being asked and without complaint. She is constantly working, getting her assigned tasks done and then moving on to proactive tasks that benefit our school in all sorts of ways; writing notes and cartoons on classroom white boards to encourage kids, quietly letting a staff member know if she notices a change in a student, being a smiling face loading students into cars, and now overseeing students in a pinch. When she works during the day she arrives as early as is necessary to make sure all the sidewalks and stairs are cleared, salted and safe when staff arrive. She offers to care for plants and other odds and ends when we are on vacations. The school is always in tip top shape when she's on duty and when something needs to get done, we know we can always count on her to do it promptly and thoroughly. We don't think we have ever seen her stand still. She is a clear example of the work ethic and conscientious team member that we want our students to look to as a role model."
Thank you, Jessica. You are appreciated. It takes a team....
