AHS Alum Keen Promoted to Chief Operating Officer

Success stairs

Alpena Public Schools issued the following announcement on Jan 11.

Brad Keen, Class of 1986, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer for Maine and Michigan Resort Operations at Boyne Resorts. Brad was inducted into the Alpena High School Hall of Fame in 2013. Brad's interest in Food and Beverage as a career began as a student in the Career & Technical Education Food Service Program that operated The Greenery Cafe'. The saying "Start Here...Go Anywhere" certainly applies to students then as well as today!

Keen’s career with Boyne Resorts now spans more than three decades. This new role will have oversight focused exclusively on five of the resort’s full-service, four-season resorts: Sugarload and Sunday River in Maine, and Boyne Highlands, Boyne Mountain, and Bay Harbor/Crooked Tree operations in Michigan.

Brad is the son of Bob and Betty Keen of Ossineke.
