Boyne City Commission Meeting on January 11

City of Boyne City recently issued the following announcement.

The Boyne City Commission will hold its next regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 11th. Here is a summary of the action items on the agenda, with a link to the full agenda packet at the end of this post:

9. NEW BUSINESS

> A. Boyne City Public Schools Discussion - Update from Superintendent Pat Little.

> B. Business Assistance Measures Update. Consider the recommendation from City Manager Michael Cain to extend the authorization to allow him to continue to take steps he deems necessary and prudent to work with and support local businesses through December 2022.

> C. Charlevoix County Parks Millage Applications - Consider a recommendation to submit County Parks Millage applications to fund  improvements to the Rotary Park Pickleball Courts, Veterans Park Pavilion seating and Veterans Park Pavilion Audio System.

> D. Aeration Blower Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Replacement - recommendation from Water/Wastewater Superintendent Mark Fowler to replace this drive for $7,775.

> E. Auditor Renewal Proposal - Consider the recommendation from City Clerk/Treasurer Jessica Puroll to approve a contract with Gabridge & Co. to provide auditing services in the amount of $29,400 for two years.

> F. City Commission Committee Involvement.

> ALSO - The agenda packet includes draft minutes from the City Commission and other boards and commissions, details on consent agenda items, and correspondence from several individuals.
