City of Charlevoix issued the following announcement on Dec 20.
After the third try, The City of Charlevoix has successfully obtained a Michigan DNR Recreation Passport Grant! This grant will fund the first phase of the 2018 Michigan Beach Park Master Plan - parking and trail improvements along Park Avenue and an observation deck. To complete the project, the City of Charlevoix has provided a match of approximately $48,500 .
