City of Fenton recently issued the following announcement.
'Twas the day after Christmas.
And Martha did query:
"What do we do
with this recyclable tree?"
If you have a natural holiday tree, GFL, the city's refuse and recycling provider, will pick it up at curbside for recycling.
Please ensure all decorations (ornaments, lights and even garland/mylar icicles) and stands have been removed before placing the tree curbside on collection day. Please do not bind or bag the tree.
As a reminder: Wednesday is the City of Fenton's collection day for refuse and recycling. Trees will be collected only on the following Wednesdays:
- Dec. 29
- Jan. 5
- Jan. 12
