City of Charlevoix issued the following announcement on Nov 10.
The City of Charlevoix is seeking dedicated volunteers to fill these committee memberships:
• Compensation Commission – 5 year term; biennial meeting
• Zoning Board of Appeals (Alternate) – 3 year term; monthly meetings
• Historic District Commission – 3 year term; monthly meetings
• Shade Tree & Park Commission – meetings as needed
• Planning Commission – 3 year term; monthly meetings
• Board of Review – 3 year term; meetings in March, July, & December
• Recreation Advisory Committee – 3 year term; quarterly meetings
In order to be considered, please fill out a volunteer application available at the Clerk’s Office or online charlevoixmi.gov. Contact the Clerk for more information (231) 547-3250 or clerk@charlevoixmi.gov.
