Atlanta Community Schools issued the following announcement on Oct 18.
We will be having our Halloween classroom parties and parade on Friday, October 29th. Unfortunately, we will not be inviting parents/guardians in for our traditional parade. We continue to try to mitigate any spread and having parents/guardians in the building and classrooms is not recommended at this time. Please plan to send your students costume in with them.
We will have the K-5 students parade down the high school hallway so our secondary students can pass out candy. If you would like to donate candy for this, it would be greatly appreciated. We are allowing our 6th-12th grade students to wear school appropriate costumes as well.
