Alpena Public Schools will continue to offer state-approved Career & Technical Education Programs this fall! With the need for talented and skilled employees in our area and throughout Michigan, CTE classes give Alpena area students a win-win opportunity! We have updated learning labs, skill qualified teachers and a variety of programs! Choose from: Welding Technology, Auto Tech, Construction Tech, Algebra and Manufacturing AMP UP!, Woodworking, Geometry & Construction, Mechatronics and Design, Business Technology, Business Management, Health Occupations, Teacher Academy, Marketing, Virtual Enterprise and Agri-Science offerings. All CTE programs may take the place of the second year language requirement, a science class and senior math. Check with your counselor to see if the substitutions will help you!
CTE classes can be delivered in our state-of the art facilities and through remote learning. We are ready for you to begin your career with us!
