City of Big Rapids issued the following announcement on Sept 24.
Construction will begin next week on the infrastructure component of the Hemlock Park Improvement Project. Beginning September 27, the main Hemlock Park entrance will be closed and the Pavilion will be unavailable for rental. Park amenities (not including the Pavilion) will remain accessible during construction and the Park can be reached via the Riverwalk trail.
