Beaver Island Community School recently issued the following announcement.
Our 2nd and 3rd graders earned a bus trip to pick blackberries Friday. While picking berries on Buddy Martin's Trail they demonstrated true teamwork while finding berries, perseverance while reaching berries, and generosity after some students dropped berries.
Islanders are special students! (Families, did any berries make it home?!)
