City of Monroe recently issued the following announcement.
Today is National Dog Day and we know your feed is full of your friends’ four-legged best friends, but many of our Officers are also dog owners and they couldn't pass up an opportunity to share some photos of their four-legged best friends too.
Also included are pictures of two of our past working K9s, Shadow and Colonel. Both dogs were trained in narcotic detection and loyally served the City of Monroe for years.
Make sure to take a moment today to thank a service dog if you see them!
