City of Boyne City recently issued the following announcement.
The City Commission’s next regular meeting will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, August 24, at City Hall. Here are highlights of the meeting agenda:
OLD BUSINESS
8A. Short-term rentals update from Planning Director Scott Macpherson - provided as an update and for questions and suggestions. No action is needed at this time. (Agenda page 41).
NEW BUSINESS
9A. Veterans Memorial Fence - Consider the recommendation of the Boyne City Veterans Memorial Committee to have a 36” tall black aluminum fence installed around the north and west sides of the memorial as outlined (page 100)
9B. Master Plan Amendment Distribution - updating zoning changes and land acquisitions since the master plan was adopted in 2015 (page 102).
9C. Purchase of 5 Cardiac Monitor Defibrillators to replace the current units that are 15 years old (page 113).
9D. Assessor Services Agreement Renewal with Up North Assessing Inc. for three years with a fee increase of less than 1% per year (page 116).
