Boyne City Public Schools issued the following announcement on July 27.
Boyne City Public Schools has an opening within the Boyne City Education Center for a Lead Teacher in the Early Learners preschool program for the 2021-2022 school year. The Early Learners Program serves 3 and 4-year-old children.
Qualifications:
- A teaching certificate with a ZA or ZS endorsement, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred, with a minimum requirement of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood.
- Experience with children in a preschool setting is preferred, with a love and understanding of young children is required.
- Prior experience working in a GSRP classroom is preferred.
- Interested individuals should be energetic, positive, and able to communicate effectively with both young children and adults.
- Be able to collaborate with other adults to maintain a successful program.
