Benzie County Central Schools issued the following announcement on July 12.
A message from the Benzie Central Gridiron Club
"Please pass this on to interested youth football players... It's going to be a great time!!!
WHAT? Learning America’s game at a fun-filled, action-packed event while UNDER THE "FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS!"
WHERE? Benzie Central's high school football field
WHEN? Friday, August 20th from 7:30-9:00 pm
WHO'S INVITED? All 4 year old through 6th grade boys and girls
THE DETAILS? Any Pre-K through 6th grader (Fall of 2021) gets to learn from high school and middle school players and coaches how to play a variety of offensive and defensive and special teams positions. Each camper receives a camp football, individual/group photo and a 2021 season t-shirt. In addition, the registration fees for this camp ($40) cover all 2021 registration fees to play either Benzie Central Flag Football or Benzie Central Pop Warner ($90 value).
SIGN-UPS? Families can either sign up the night of the camp, or to ensure your camper gets his/her t-shirt that evening, sign up online by August 1st at:

Need to bring items: cleats (or athletic shoes) and a champion’s attitude.
Camp instructors: The football coaching staff and members of the 2021 middle and high school teams.
