CITY OF CADILLAC: Notice of Planning Commission Special Meeting

City of Cadillac issued the following announcement.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING ON RESOLUTION OF LAND SWAP 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. This meeting will only be held electronically for public participation pursuant to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Emergency Order under MCL 333.2253 — Gathering Prohibition and Mask Order.  

The purpose of this meeting will be to conduct a Special Meeting regarding the Resolution of a land swap:  

This Resolution is an initiative to swap land within the Potvin Industrial Park. The concept is to swap land currently owned by the City for land currently owned by Consumers, and 

the City would then sell that land to Spencer Plastics, who are in immediate need to expand.

Reason for Electronic Meeting.  The Planning Commission is holding the meeting by electronic means only because of the capacity restrictions and social distancing requirements 

set forth in the MDHHS Emergency Order.
