City of Alpena issued the following announcement on Nov. 18
The City would like to remind owners or occupants of any premise, that pushing, placing or depositing any weeds, plant materials, grass, leaves, or vegetation from any private or public land into the right-of-way of any street, alley, or highway within the City is a violation of City Ordinance 102-71 which can result in a civil infraction citation of up to $500.00.
