City of Cadillac issued the following announcement.
Purpose: The Local Development Finance Authority (LDFA) will hold a Special meeting on November 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. to have an Informational Meeting. Informational meetings are meetings for the purpose of informing the public of the goals and direction of the authority, including projects to be undertaken in the coming year. This meeting will only be held electronically pursuant to the Open Meetings Act and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Emergency Order Under MCL 333.2253 — Gathering Prohibition and Mask Order. The purpose of the meeting is to consider any business to come before the LDFA Council as permitted by law.
Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Act 267 of 1976, and the MDHHS Emergency Order, the LDFA also gives notice of the following:
1. Reason for Electronic Meeting. The LDFA is holding the meeting by electronic means only because of the capacity restrictions and social distancing requirements set forth in the MDHHS Emergency Order.
2. Procedures. The public may participate in the meeting and may make public comment electronically by video or telephone conference using the following information:
