2.2 percent of Kirtland Community College students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 2.2 percent of Kirtland Community College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Kirtland Community College has a total student body of 1,489 students, of which 60 percent are women and 40 percent are men. Of these students, 21 men and 12 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Kirtland Community College with participants are track and field, x-country (13), bowling (12) and golf (8).
