Alanson Public School issued the following announcement on April 2
Dear families and students,
As many of you probably heard today, Governor Whitmer announced that K-12 schools will remained closed for the remainder of this school year. The staff at APS are very sad to hear this knowing we won't see all the kids again this school year, however, we know that this is what is best for everyone's health and safety. We have been working hard this week to put a plan in place for remote learning so we can move forward with this school year. We want to make sure that all students have access to this learning whether it is digital or paper/pencil. The staff are finetuning the plans so we can start this learning on Monday April 13th. Teachers will be making phone calls to all of our families to make sure we are meeting all the needs of our students. You will be hearing more from me and the teachers in the next week or so as we roll this plan out!
We have a strong Viking family and we are so thankful for all of your support through this!
