Aplena Public Schools issued the following announcement on Jan. 28
Alpena Public Schools is offering town hall style meetings for residents of the APS service area to have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback regarding the March 10, 2020 school district facility bond vote. Town Hall Meeting dates and locations are as follows:
Tuesday 2/4 6:30 PM at Hinks Elementary 7667 US-23, Alpena
Wednesday 2/5 10:30 AM at Alpena Senior Center 501 River St, Alpena
Thursday 2/13 6:30 PM at Sanborn School 12170 US-23, Ossineke
Additional dates will be added.
On March 10, voters in the Alpena Public School District will be asked to consider a Zero (0) Mill increase to provide funds for school district facilities. Our goal is to provide every voter in the APS service area an opportunity to meet and ask questions at a location in their community.
