City of Manistee issued the following announcement on Dec. 11
Early heavy snow falls prevented the typical process for both the DPW crews and residents. The DPW will continue pickup efforts this week and will make one more pass through the City next week. As most residents were not able to clean their yards out this year, we will advertise and perform a special bult leaf pickup in the spring.
The City brush pickup program typically ends when leaf pickup begins. However, due to November storms, we have received numerous requests for brush pick up. Beginning the week of December 16, a crew will begin brush pickup. Please be reminded to call 231-723-7132 to be placed on the brush list.
